Hi my name is April.  I started ~Creations By Conrad~ in 2010 and it has grown so much already thanks to all of my great customers from all over the county telling their friends and families about what I do.  I am a mother, a wife, a full time art teacher and now the artist behind ~Creations By Conrad~.  My hand painting on glass started as a hobby and a way to relax after work while satisfying my artistic nature.  I started out designing and hand painting glasses just for myself and to give as gifts to friends.  I soon started to get requests from friends and family to create unique wine glassware for them.  As the requests grew, a new business venture was born!

The first glasses I started getting request for were my portrait glasses.  These glasses have become very popular with Brides and Grooms-To-Be.  Giving each of their wedding attendants a one of a kind personalized gift to say "Thank You" is something every couple wants.  I have been so lucky to be a part of that special gift for so may couples!
One of the main questions I generally get is "How long does it take you to paint one glass?".  That is hard to answer as each glass takes a period of 5 to 10 days to create due to the painting and layering effect. Some of the more detailed designs such as my Portrait glasses are very time intense so I try to focus on their beauty and not think about the time involved. After the painting process there comes the drying and baking time.  It's a slow process but I think it's worth the effort.  Another question I get is, "Which glass is my personal favorite?".  That's easy... it's the one I am working on at the moment!

I hope you enjoy my glass designs as much as I enjoy creating them.  Painting is my passion.  If you like my style, please check back often as I have a million ideas and will keep adding new designs to my website.

Thank You So Much For Visiting!
April
